About

I believe every brand has a story worth telling — and someone worth telling it to.

I'm a content strategist who helps brands find their voice through focused storytelling. Not more content. Better stories.

Professional Background

The path that led me here

My career hasn't followed a straight line — and I'm grateful for that. Every twist taught me something about how stories move people, and how strategy gives those stories direction.

Early Days

From journalism to brand worlds

I started in journalism, chasing deadlines and learning that the best stories aren't the ones with the most facts — they're the ones that make someone feel understood. When I moved into marketing, I saw brands struggling to be heard in all the noise. The ones that succeeded weren't shouting louder. They were telling stories that stuck.

The Pivot

Finding my focus in content strategy

After years of writing everything from product pages to annual reports, I realised the work I loved most was the thinking behind the words: understanding an audience, mapping a narrative arc, and building a content system that could sustain a brand's voice over time. I shifted into content strategy — but I brought storytelling with me.

Today

Helping brands find their voice

Now I partner with brands, agencies, and in-house teams to build content strategies rooted in narrative. I've led storytelling workshops, developed editorial frameworks for global brands, and helped startups articulate who they are before they scale. My work has been featured in industry publications and I've spoken at conferences on the intersection of story and strategy.

Storytelling Philosophy

What I believe about brand stories

01

Stories build trust before they sell

No one likes being sold to. But everyone loves a good story. When a brand shares something true about who they are, the right people lean in. Trust is the foundation; conversion is the natural next step.

02

Every brand has an untold narrative

Most brands have a story buried somewhere — in their founding, their customers, their craft. My job is to excavate it, polish it, and make it the organising principle for everything they say.

03

Strategy without story is just noise

Calendars, channels, and KPIs matter. But without a unifying narrative, content becomes a treadmill of disconnected posts. Story gives strategy a heartbeat — and audiences something to remember.

Who I Work With

Three ways we might connect

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all partnerships. Depending on where you sit, here's what working together could look like.

For Brands

You're building something meaningful and need a content strategy that reflects that. I help you articulate your brand story, build an editorial framework, and create content that earns attention rather than buying it.

For Employers

You're hiring a content strategist who can think in narratives, not just calendars. I bring a hybrid skillset — editorial instinct plus strategic rigour — and a track record of turning brand voice into business results.

For Collaborators

You're a strategist, writer, or designer who believes in the power of story too. I love trading ideas, co-creating projects, and building a community of practitioners who care about craft as much as outcomes.

Behind the Story

Why I do this work

I came to brand storytelling through a love of books, not business. I used to spend afternoons in secondhand bookshops, drawn to the way a well-told story could change how I saw the world. That same feeling — of being seen, of understanding something new — is what I chase for every brand I work with.

These days, my process is quieter but no less obsessive. Mornings start with coffee and a blank page. I read widely — fiction, essays, long-form journalism — because the best brand stories borrow from the best human stories. And I still believe that the most powerful thing any brand can say is something true.

Kind Words

What collaborators say

"Working with this strategist transformed how we think about content. We went from publishing on autopilot to telling stories our audience actually remembers."
Sarah Chen Head of Marketing, Northlight Studio
"Rare to find someone who can operate at both the strategic and editorial level. The narrative framework they built for us is still the backbone of our content two years later."
James Okonkwo Creative Director, Form & Function Agency
